G’day and welcome to the Resonate blog on Marketing.

We are Australia’s leading practitioners in the design, execution and measurement of marketing initiatives through branded communities, both online and offline. Our clients include the Woolworths, IAG, Hungry Jacks and the Australian Football League. We use a variety of technologies to engage with your customers, including platforms provided by salesforce.com, Satmetrix and Vocanic.

This site is a team effort, with postings from Patrick, Jeff, Tim and others, in no particular order, but with the consistent theme of making marketing work, for business.

We are a small team who has lived and worked through the much-hyped launches of a string of marketing cure-alls; CRM, SFA, CEM, WOM, customer analytics, trigger-based marketing systems… we have some techie geeks and some tweedy strategy guys and hope to keep the chat varied and interesting.

Each of these Three Letter Acronyms, TLA’s, promised to revolutionise and replace the tired thinking of the panacea before it, until it in turn was replaced. Surely we can, as each new strategy and technology comes along, move what is useful and valuable forward? Sure we may have to abandon some favourite approaches that no longer work so well, but to throw out baby and bathwater?
